SÄNTIS MALT KARL LOCHER’S 60TH FOUNDER’S ANNIVERSARY RESERVE

This 60-bottles limited edition of whisky was created to celebrate the 60th birthday of Karl Locher, founder of the famous Säntis Malt, one of the oldest distilleries in Switzerland. The eight carefully selected oak barrels of various vintages correspond to different milestones in Karl‘s life, conveying his dedicated passion for Säntis Malt.

Karl Locher invited Martin Fuchs, the famous Swiss artist from Appenzell, to create an artwork portraying the hometown of Säntis Malt. The resulting exclusive painting, called Wonder Wanderland Appenzell, vividly depicts the beauty of the four seasons in Appenzell and consists of 60 different scenes.

The original Wonder Wanderland Appenzell artwork is displayed at the Säntis Malt Distillery in Appenzell. Each whisky bottle buyer is physically-dropped with a unique NFT that contains the digital rights of the individual, original painting paired.
